Pardon my french, but what the fuck? This is the stupidest decision of all time. These dickheads dilute their portfolio by releasing PC ports that will sell 5 copies, yet they cancel the port of one of the few "games" that actually makes sense on PC?

No the stupid decision was not having a ps5 /pc ready day one. Doesn’t matter if they had to delay it. This is something you want to get into as many hands as possible as soon as possible. It should as have launched in ps plus or as a pack in game for ps5.

According to new information shared by Lance McDonald during a Twitch broadcast, the PC and PlayStation 5 versions of Dreams have been canceled.



Lance McDonald claims that this new enhanced version of the game was practically ready, but ended up being canceled at the last minute after layoffs at Media Molecule.

For those who don't know, in October 2023 it was officially revealed to the public that Media Molecule had laid off around 20 employees, with the studio having a total of 135 employees (October figures).

The enhanced edition of Dreams would feature several new features, such as support for Ray-Tracing and even mouse and keyboard support in the PlayStation 5 version.

It's a blunder imo. You could have people on PC making ambitious content for PSVR2 in Dreams.
