Same for me, another franchise I am not into, but I admit the guilty pleasure of watching the movies, which are also pretty meh...

RE4 is one of my fav game of all time but can't help being skeptical about this after RE3 remake cut content edition. I preodered RE3R but with this one will wait and see.

Stoked for this, RE2 remake was amazing, if it can recapture that same feeling, while not going too heavy on the action, as did RE3 remake, then it could be something truly special.

Same. I recently played it again and it was just way too much action compared to the classics. I cant remember any puzzles, barely any actual metroidvania backtracking. And not scary.

People hate on RE5 but RE4 is where they started going wrong. By the end of the game you’ve mowed through 1000+ enemies. The last 2 hours is room after room of enemies and some with machine guns lmao.
Its still a great game in its own right, great boss fights, good action but its what killed the classi RE formula.

Totally not classic RE.
Hoping this one is more survival horror and action horror

Id love RE1 remake or RE1 remake lol. Dont cut content. Same with Code Veronica, just sort out the ammo/save issue. No added stalker character

Resident Evil 3 is a spin off. I'd much rather love they did a game in the vein of Resi 2 but with 3s full story, not gameplay.

Day one for me. While REmake2 is my favorite game in the series, im expecting REmake4 to be right behind it. After this, I just need REmakeCodeVeronica!!!
