I am a bit glad the reaction has been overwhelmingly negative on this regard. If one would want to compare and contrast, then we can look over it. Bethesda purchase was for the sake of helping the business, especially when Zenimax has been all on live service aka trend chasing. ABK was all about saving the workers, even if the origin is to escape the punishment for the evil mastermind. Is there anything worth rescuing over Kadokawa?
If the purchase happens and they make them exclusive to themselves, the damage will actually be more severe than if CoD was to go exclusive. Yes, it would help Xbox greater but in short term. Long term, best to keep it open for everyone. As for Kadokawa, not only other platforms won’t get their games but so as other publishers. Bamco will be absolutely livid if they lose From for AC and DS-esque titles as well as Spike for DB. They will burn so many bridges. Don’t get me started on anime.
