Here's a list of most of Kadokawa Animes:I thought they only did manga and not the kind of anime you see on TV.
More proof that people don't even know what Kadokawa does
Capcom has never been for sale. Square did merge and that was Sony's opportunity then while Square was recovering from FF Spirits WithinJust like Sony could’ve bought Capcom & Square when they both where in trouble & only worth like 4 billion?
In the real Sony needs to spend rn while there cheap because they will only become more valuable & increase market cap w Nintendo next console having more power & blurring the line against PS consoles new opportunities for 3rd party developers to monetize. With Xbox completely out of the picture Nintendo & Valve/Steam are higher & greater threat to PS. PS should not fold by releasing pc port that continues to see a decline trend diminishing the PS platform & ecosystem for short term & small “profits gain” those extra profit & mau could be brought if PS actually release more then 1 game per year & didn’t rely on 3rd party where those 3rd party don’t require a PSN account to play. Maybe fudge numbers by making players even on PS make a PSN account so if they ever go on PC or mobile & PS release a multiplayer live service game they allready have a PSN account because they played the permanent exclusive games on PS console becoming much easier to swallow.
Kadokawa has their fingers in A LOT of pies for the anime industry.I thought they only did manga and not the kind of anime you see on TV.

This is what they should have done during their 2020-2023 acquisition spree after Insomniac. Bluepoint and Housemarque also makes sense at least they have a history working together.Ive been saying this for awhile.
Its easier to buy some IPs and studios they have worked with before then fully relying on creating new ips and new studios.
Guarantee that new ips will be a hit.
They need a mix at least. Plus FromSoft they have worked with before
I feel like SE seems like an obvious choice for them. Wonder if the new CEO's multiplatfrom push has given them pause? Or hes pushing so strong because a deal fell through?
most the 360 fans left after hearing about console drm and went to PlayStation and PlayStation with rip on Xbox about sharing games right after with the PS4 and Xbox games going to PCMicrosoft/Xbox fanbase =
70% bot accounts
25% paid shills and employees
5% real fans that have stuck around since the 360 or og xbox days
I have sympathy for the 5%
bluepoint and fromsoft bloodbourne remake or squeal probably right after there original gameThis whole thing really reinforces my theory that FROMs next game is already in the works of being published by SIE.
They stated that they weren’t getting fair cut from Bandai
Sell 30% to Sony/Tencent, stating the money going towards a collaborative multimedia effort
Herman mentioned them in a future of PS Studios interview
Brazil from Era (credible) states he hears of a from x sony game
They got sony to help them fund the rights of Elden Ring
Sony stating that they have a lack of IP
And now we’re seeing rumors that Kadowkawa is in talks of selling, could be cope but I think Bloodborne 2 is cooking as we speak.
I'm guessing the funds weren't there for Sony to acquire them yet or Sony thought these studios would work we still have Haven and fire sprite to prove themselvesThis is what they should have done during their 2020-2023 acquisition spree after Insomniac. Bluepoint and Housemarque also makes sense at least they have a history working together.
But then they went the wrong road with unproven studios like Firesprite, Firewalk, Haven and Neon Koi. Bungie is not a bad studio but Sony overpaid big time.
Except that pretty much every financial report from Kadokawa for the past two years have explicitly stated they're actively trying to enable to self-published future titles. This whole thing really reinforces my theory that FROMs next game is already in the works of being published by SIE.
TBH, if Sony end up acquiring Kadokawa & From Software, they don't really need Square-Enix. Yes for bragging purposes saying you own Final Fantasy & Dragon Quest would be big, and SE seem on an upward trend these days between Rebirth, RS2R and DQIIIR....
...but that said, Kadokawa & From Software just bring more overall value to the company and even SIE. So I can see where acquiring Square-Enix would look redundant.
Nothing in my post is about games not going to PC anymore though? I mentioned PC gamers because they hate Sony and now Sony will have control of their precious From Software games and then they gotta log into PSN.they’ll continue to have fromsoft games… nothing will change
Another thing to add to the list:This whole thing really reinforces my theory that FROMs next game is already in the works of being published by SIE.

It is what Sony wants... they want that IP creation to add to Sony's cross media productions.Kadokawa has their fingers in A LOT of pies for the anime industry.
Their main value proposition is IP creation and cross-media productions. (I.E. Taking a Light Novel and making revenue off of anime and manga adaptations, plus merchandise and games)
"Whether it’s for games, films or anime, we don’t have that much IP that we fostered from the beginning,” the company’s chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki told FT. “We’re lacking the early phase [of IP] and that’s an issue for us.”
The subtle distinction is collaboration, vs. publishing. Sony bought about $120M USD of FromSoftware shares, which Kadokawa stated would be used for expanding international publishing. So yes, make sure they are working on something together. No need to be an insider to know that.
Yes. If you're buying Kadokawa, you're doing it for their capacity to create, foster, and monetize new IP across multi-media.It is what Sony wants... they want that IP creation to add to Sony's cross media productions.
The CEO interview in September told exactly that.
These MS shills are undoubtedly some of the most shameless creatures to have ever walked the earth
