The Playstation fans are running their mouths on Twitter. If the acquisition falls through, it’s going to be so embarrassing
I don't think most of them are real PlayStation fans. Just terminally online console warriors and a lot of them probably didn't even really jump into PlayStation until the PS4 era.
A lot of the genuine fans, I'd say we're interested and excited to see what happens with all of this, but also acknowledge there might be a couple complications integrating things and there may be some valid concerns worth addressing/talking about.
Either that, or we're also calling out the hypocrisy of Xbox fanboys who were (and still are) cheering about MS buying ABK and wanting all those games to go exclusive, but "suddenly" consolidation is a bad thing when Sony's looking to acquire a powerhouse with some real IP & talent, and not some no-name GAAS startup (sorry Firewalk).
