they're still there, but i think as soon as their products started tanking and showing market effects they lost any real power they had. it's a pendulum swing i guess, i wish people would just be normal. I kinda think if someone fully migrates platforms, they're an [insert platform] gamer. Though, they can still choose to personally identify however they want.
Like if someone stopped buying new Nintendo hardware and started gaming on PCs exclusively, I wouldn't think of them as a Nintendo gamer, though I'd respect if that's how they still see themselves.

Anyway, Sony will buy Kadokawa, and FROM will be placed under SIE. They will become PS/PC only devs from their next game onwards, same goes for Acquire and Spike Chunsoft. Kadokawa is likely to take the deal considering they have publicly talked about it and got to the point where a LOI was written.
