The Reamke is not exclusive, they just have focused on that platform. Falcom said it themselves they are unsure which platforms are being added and who is going to publish it.

the launcher, PC overlay and more were all leaked information due to job listings in the past, it doesn’t mean sony will delist their games from steam, put a little thing in your head: if they wanted to compete in the launcher front they wouldn’t be putting their biggest tentpole titles like God Of War, Spiderman, The Last Of Us and more on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG, they’re basically telling PC players that it’s ok to stay on the launchers they already are, this won’t change

Somhow you think the adoption of a launcher would be determined by a handful of aged single player games? It doesn't work like that. Sony needs the cash flow to build themselves a launcher. The PC Ports to steam are positive cash flow. The only people who don't understand that are fanboys who are reactionary.

You look at the biggest games on PC and hardly any of them are actually on Steam. Minecraft, Roblox, LoL, WoW, Fortnite, Valorant, Genshin Impact, .

Sony released games on snes before they released PS1. Sony also used to publish PS1 games on PC.

Sony is also confirmed to be working with AMD on a handheld PlayStation and they just put Lego Horizon on Switch.

Sony looking for cash flow and to keep teams up and running today does not equate to lifelong commitments in the future.

Oh man Fromsoft permanently exclusive will bend the knees of PC players to get PS console or complete miss & if Fromsoft ever makes a souls multiplayer live service having that exclusive to the PS PC launcher instead of Steam is big long term play & would be great signs for both PS console & PS outside like PC & Mobile.

But without the thing said happening PS PC launcher is dead & PS as a brand & platform/storefront will continue to see decline.
