Not sure if this matches what I meant, but I'm not too familiar with these terms. However, it doesn't matter, really. As long as the game is fun I never gave a fuck about what it includes. I don't get triggered if the game only represents males, and I don't get triggered if the game has Angrboda represented as a black teen.
The last bit matters. But sometimes games will just scream Woke without having to look for clues. Kinda like the mentioned Saints Row.
If it fits, it fits. But forcefully shoehorned in DEI crap can be seen from miles away.
Of course it can, but my problem is not with people being against that (which I'm very much against). My problem is with people being against ANY game that is not a muscle dude or a big titted woman. If it has a black person, ooof, then they shout woke and god knows what.
Conversely you have the idiots that will shout crap because a game doesn't have POC or a gay character, as if that's what defines good writing.
Ultimately, what's funny is that this forum is filled with the former and has none of the latter, kinda like the opposite of resetera.

Helldivers is very obviously not woke as it satirizes the woke crowd's agenda for suppressing free speech and dialogue, as well as punishing thought crimes.
It also satirizes capitalism associated with a military industrial complex which is a lot more prevalent with the right wing.
What a woke Helldivers would look like is having the ability to choose pronouns, gender conformity levels and LGBTQ capes (which the devs refused, and quite adamantly so).
Of course, extremists of either side will claim the game is "very obviously" right wing or woke, depending on said extremists' side.
In reality, the game shits on exactly on those extremists of both sides, and it's mighty fun to watch that crowd's inability to understand that the joke's about them.

Ah yes I get your point. The only Woke part that can die a silent and slow death for me is the forced version. Tacked on as an afterthought to appease a minority.

Be careful with any sort of discussion with that user, though. He'll often use cheap tactics and blatant lies to defame and harass you, in case you get on his wrong side.
