The game is surprisingly hardcore but I noticed some assists in the menu in case I get stuck

This game is absolutely ridiculous. I finished the main campaign a few days ago now working through the unlocked harder mode.

Best bullet time shooter ever made IMO, it reminds me of the white knuckle bits of Vanquish frequently. The momentum is great and the slow mo is generous, you constantly feel like an acrobatic badass.

There's a learning curve for the movement but once you get it down it feels like second nature, adjusting your movement line no matter which way the camera is facing takes getting used to but once you have it down it feels so so good.
