Rumor: new tomb raider reveal coming

Development of the new Tomb Raider game is apparently in full swing, with a reveal set for 2023. That’s according to Miller Ros, the insider who first leaked Square Enix’s plans to pull the plug on Marvel’s Avengers in September this year.
Writing for Exputer, Ross revealed that as Crystal Dynamics prepares to sunset Marvel’s Avengers for good, much of the game’s development team is moving on to Tomb Raider. The game has reportedly entered full-scale development, and there is “pressure” to reveal the project sometime later this year.

Good, I was afraid that they were all tied up helping to make PD....

It's good that their productivity hasn't been held back by that.

Forget it, in current climate, the game would be canceled, just look at Hogwarts Legacy, trying to cancel it and hurt developers.

Loved the reboot with Rise being the best and my favorite of the three. Been a fan of Crystal Dynamics since the 90's when they developed Slam n' Jam 95 for 3DO. Looking forward to their next Tomb Raider game and Perfect Dark.

Remember the game but never played it. I would like to also see those Lara Croft isometric games come back. Temple of Osiris was good, Guardian of Light was better and would love a new one of these games where it's more puzzle and platforming based with a good amount of combat.

I hope they will make it like the classics from the PS1 era, without autoclimb bs, without QTE bs, no Casual bs, well they need to make the same exact gameplay of the original TombRaider.
