Summer technically runs until September 21st sooo....

So it's still this summer ? ok, just a couple of weeks at most.

Gonna be a good summer with this, the biggest RPG of the year.

My dude, if it were just two weeks out from H1 I don't think rumors of the delay out of H1 would be circulating. Two weeks is basically nothing.

This is smelling more and more like a September release by the day.

I honeslty couldn't care less. It's absolutely ridiculous how microsoft and its fans are bettings everything on a single game.
I have to add this one thing: people shit on SQEX pipeline left and right and seems to handwave the shitshow that Bethesda actually is and I can't understand why.
Is it a bias? Because SQEX is consistently delivering since they sorted out their problems with the Luminous and shifted to Unreal while Bethesda can't ffs get their shit together.

I mean you just answered the question right there. It's bias, simple as that.

I said a couple of weeks, not two 😅

And yes, it was always a summer game IMO even if it doesn't hit the strict "within the next 12 month" deadline they set last year.

I think most people expected this at the end of 2023 after last years delay anyway. It's a non-issue atm IMO.
I did. Who really wants a 60 hr + game in the summer? Especially since Zelda drops in May. If your young and don't have kids, it doesn't matter, but otherwise, summer is not a good for a game people could easily play 10 hours a day or more.

Wait, was the H1 release even confirmed? Or is it this a rumor about a delay of a rumored release?

There was never a confirmed release or even a window, they just said the "all games we show in this stream will release in the next 12 months" last year in their E3 stream.

That's all.

Personally I think it's a Fall game for MS especially if they want to finish the year strong and don't have any other major releases planned (like Hellblade II or Avowed...but I don't think either of those are as big a deal for Xbox as Starfield would be).

By window I meant that they never said if the game was coming in the Spring window or the Summer window, officially.
"all games we show in this stream will release in the next 12 months"
means that games showed is coming in 12 month. it is literally what was said and that what it means. in 12 month.

12th of June 2022 + 12th month = 12th of June 2023

With Redfall releasing in May, it makes sense to give it at least a 2 month room so I get if they don't want to release a huge game like this just 4 weeks after.

As long as it isn't anything crazy like Q4 2023 and still within the Summer time, I think it's ok.

Have predicted this since the delay. Don't know why anyone would be surprised. Have said since the delay, November 2023.
I'm with you buddy. I always thought starfield would target November 2023 and couldn't see any reason for it to release before that, even if it was ready.

Microsoft have always released their big bangers in the holiday season. I think it was Mattrick that said they make more profit in oct/nov/Dec than they do the rest of the year combined.

Agreed. I believe and am hoping that Starfield is November 2023.

Agreed. And I don't want their first party games stacked on top of each other. I prefer them to be spread out.
