Would be a huge threat to EA. 2k is the most popular sports game in the U.S. by far. If take 2 can take a chunk out of their soccer dominance globally it would be cool to see.
Yeah and make them step their game up.

Considering that 2k is even worse than EA when providing decent yearly updates, this feels like it will fail fantastically. That said, at least it's another option.

To be fair, if you like casino games in nba2k, you will like it in fifa2k

Good to hear. I welcome it.
Would be great if they can get club and player licenses. If they get that, nail down semi decent gameplay and have the Fifa name, EA will have some hard competition.

EA is up there as one of the laziest game developers along with Gamefreak when it comes to there huge money making games.

The EA football game don’t feel like theyve changed enough in years and years. Especially for the money they make

If true, this will only encourage EA to step up their casino simulator aspect of the game. I totally understand why FIFA chose T2.

Meanwhile EA got whole European lisences.

Good luck selling without that.

Not a problem. EA didn't have the Liga Europa and Champions League licences for years, and had replacement competitions in the games. As for club licences, these are negotiated with the Leagues and the Clubs themselves, and AFAIK they are not exclusive to a single game (and I think they cannot be made exclusive to a single game).

I'd rather have FIFA X Konami. We need Winning Eleven back on top. EA sports football games have always been trash.

When I says I meant not just Ceferin but whole European:

La Liga
FIGC Serie
FA EPL, Cup
EFL Cup and Leagueas
3F Ligue
DFL Bundesliga and Cups
PFA Liga

Also they got MLS and South Americans competitions as well as Meiji J and K-League.

That is a shit tons of long-contract deals that is very hard to break.

Options for sports games are great. However, 2k will have less licenses than EA and this game might get overrun with 2k's bullshit VC microtransction.

Between EA and Konami there aren't many player and league liscenses left to buy, are there? It will be a game called FIFA with generic teams in generic leagues. I guess they get the World Cup though? Do players give up the liscense to their names and images when performing national team duties?
