So don't use it lol, I'd rather use higher texture quality with 16gb vram6900xt wishes it was meh at rt
if I wanted to make those kinds of compromises, I'd just stick with the PS5. The point of PC is to have it all and 4070s simply does that better than 6900xt, rt + dlss will give u a way better gaming experience than the 6900xt

Not really considering the compromise you make is framerate to turn on RT. Or you have to run at 1080p, another compromise. The only card that doesn't have to compromise right now is the 4090 and you still can't run RT native with a good framerate on the games where RT makes a big difference.
Anyway the 6900XT is a solid midrange card at $380. If it was $500+ then of course it wouldn't fly.
with the 6900xt you have to compromise on rt almost entirely, that's not the case with the 4070s.
And yeah its good bang for buck, but I still wouldn't recommend it

No! Moved from them a while back. I just think you pay for what you get - and with Nvidia you're getting superior hardware and software.

Not 60% superior. AMD is around 20-25% behind. I wouldn't touch an AMD card from before rdna2 but they actually made a decent gen.
You get what you pay for.

Nvidia is more expensive because people keep buying it despite having worse performance, planned obsolescence through lack of vram, and higher prices.
Feel free to buy a 4070 and end up having to replace it in a couple years.

For this particular card it is, it's faster than the stock 6900xt by about 5-10% which makes it faster than the 4070s

You clearly said Nvidia in general have worse performance which is nonsense.
Nvidia is superior to AMD in GPUs. It is just a fact. Reason why they charge extra and people still buy them.
