The Ukraine-Russia war definitely had an effect on development so that has me a bit worried about the development of 4A games’ next title since 4A games is also a Ukrainian studio. I like the Metro series but have no interest in Stalker.

Of course it had for some months, but they moved to Czech Republic pretty fast. Also, they were supported.
There is no excuse to release the game how it was released, they could have just delayed the game for 3-6 months.
But they still pushed unfinished product.

I mean they still haven't finished the first stalker so I don't know when you think this was going to come out

I wonder what pushed them to release it early? There own Financial issues, or being pressured by MS for gamepass?

Going with the Game pass deal for day n date definitely could have put more pressure on them to make the deadline and get the game out the gate. The game was delayed before so I don't think Microsoft would want to agree to anymore delays as a result of them inking the GP day n date deal with the studio.
