Scorn is a divisive game -- slow, absent of dialogue, minimal combat, simple puzzles. But I respect it for not apologizing for it being what it is. Any other developer would've caved and tried to be more people-pleasing, but Scorn is so focused on its atmosphere and art direction, I can't help but root for it. I haven't even played the game since it came out but I still vividly remember a lot of it because of how ridiculously strong its aesthetic was. And that's more than I can say for some AAA games I've played.
I'll buy a physical PS5 copy when I can.
