[SEGA] Sega Delisting Over 60 Retro Games from Steam December 6th

On December 6th, Sega will delist over 60 retro games from the Steam storefront. If you own these games before the delisting, your license will not be impacted.

Titles include things like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, and many more. The full list is included in the link above.

Several of these games have been announced to receive new entries in the future. Therefore, they may be planning to relist these titles as new collections. However, this is not guarunteed.

Topic is semi misleading, most of these games are also being removed from PSN, the Nintendo eShop, and the Microsoft Store. The reason the Steam list is the longest is because all of the games have separate store pages on Steam, while on Switch/Xbox/PSN, they're almost all included in the SEGA® Mega Drive Classics™ collection. Scroll down on that page and you'll see options to select the other platforms to see.

technically almost all of these games are already being emulated in these Sega releases
The Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics are all using Sega's own emulators inside of a 3D frontend for these games.

Isnt only SEGA Mega Drive Classics being removed on Switch and PSN. They dont have much else when it comes to classics on PSN outside of PS3. Xbox and Steam have alot more like Jet Set Radio and Nights etc

Yes, this is correct. That's why I said most, however.
I wouldn't say "a lot more" though, *most* of the titles are in the classics collection.

Yes we still have it on the OG Xbox. Not sure why Sega and some of the other publishers dont have alot of there older games on modern gaming platforms. Konami surprisingly put contra, castlevania, mgs collections.
Sega has so many games stuck on saturn, dreamcast, ps2/xbox etc

I just want their management to suffer actually but I do enjoy some of their games. I'm just boycotting them outside of PS+. No money from me .
