343, Playground twice, Initiative, Bethesda, Tango lost the founder. That's not normal.

Who would've guessed it was not a good fit to put the guys in charge of the creatively bankrupt Forza Horizon series in charge of a new Fable?

If it was just one person you could at least argue it might've been for personal reasons but multiple high rankings devs is clear sign of troubled development.

I wonder if the reason Microsoft is contracting these games out is because of their 18 month contractor policy, it’s easier to have a more consistent development cycle having it be outsourced? Not that MS doesn’t have the money for it, but i assume this would expensive because their market share and business model are so bad, that not only are they paying for the development but also incentivizes to just make the project worthwhile?

It also might be why we haven’t seen gears anything since 2019 because the development staff keeps rolling over and need retrained? Same for rare, 343 etc? So like Phil and his team might be this incompetent group but also have 18 month contractor roll overs as well?
