I wonder... if Konami had waited a bit (before they did the first slate of announcements), if they could have gotten the Tormented Souls team to do it.
Probably would have been cheaper, and those guys definitely get classic, survival horror.

Angela looks like former Real Madrid and Inter Milan Chilean striker Bam Bam Zamorano.
Ok what the hell there's s 14 minute extended gameplay trailer and it looks pretty good actually. Save for the by the numbers over the shoulder camera but folks love that crap.

and the sound desing is really poor.... which is baffling.
The character models in this are a downgrade.

This is looking great IMO. Not a 10/10 game, but seems like it could be a solid 8/10
Even the thumbnail of the video already looks bad.

It looks better than last time but characters and animations still feel off. The environments look great.
Combat is also a bit more advanced than the original, with enemies that can block/counter melee attacks.

The lighting looks good in certain indoor scenes, but awful in others.
The fog just looks terrible, regardless if it’s in game or cutscene.
Like I said before, camera is still too close to James.
I’m digging the new design of Maria/Mary, but Angela is definite yikes!

The fog is more realistic the only tease there was fog in the original was because of the limitations at the time , it wasn't supposed to be there , the movie had a great explanation for it though with it being ash because of the neverending fire
