Extremely disappointing that these don't even have a proper CRT filter,wide-screen and the resolution is at a native 480p uprendered to 1080i.
Sony is putting no effort into these ps2 games.
Pcsx2 is still the best way to play these games
For this game the PS3 emulator is actually the best way to play it since they remastered it to be 16:9Pcsx2 is still the best way to play these games
They shouldn't even bother doing these ports if they're gonna be so lazy about it

Emulation is fucked because it's done by Sony's Japan team
Japan seems to have a weird obsession with old games being in their original state instead of upgrading them with basic features. Just see Nintendo emulations, Konami's MGS collection etc
Okay I thought I read before it was a team in Sony Japan my badThe Miz Ruby boss fight music is out of sync in the ps3 version, for that alone i prefer the ps2 version
It's done by implicit Conversions which is an American Team,

Still has that issue on the new PS4 version lol, so keeping it as "originally intended" did nothing. No one is gonna mention all the bugs that HD Collection contains?
Broken audio, cut out graphical effects, widescreen sometimes shows you stuff you are not supposed to see, Ms Zuby boss fight being completly broken due to audio lag, lack of the Directors Cut video.
Sometimes It's better to leave things as they were originaly intended, and not risking completly ruining the game, like the HD Collections did to every game they remastered in the PS3 era.
Yep, and proper remastered collections would make 100x more money than all of these flopped PC ports. Plus most of the emulation work has already been done for them by the community and they still find a way to mess it up. Maybe when these games go to PC we'll have some half decent portsPC can have named dedicated teams for ports but PlayStation itself gets nothing, PlayStation is awfully mismanaged and they'll inevitable kill their console business at this rate.

Zero surprise that they would do a terrible job. The obvious solution for a long time was to have a dedicated emulation team that communicates with the community, takes feedback, is responsible for sorting out licenses issues, etc.

Still a new set of trophies, yes?
Ps1/psp emulation is actually very good. It’s just the ps2 that is awful.@Yurinka Why doesn’t Sony get an emulator that is already widely used with lots of features and compatibility with PS1/PS2 games. And just optimise it?
