I know your not gonna like the sound of this but Dreams should of got a PS5 port and PC release in 2022 instead of Sackboy's Big Adventure getting a PC release. It's just the type of game modders would of loved
Why would I not like this? I said Dreams should've been on PC all along, perfect game for a PS/PC release. I said Dreams should be on PC as soon as Sony started announcing their PC ports back in 2019/2020.

Sackboy being released on PC is just pure stupidity and lack of understanding of how different markets work, same goes for R&C and many others.

I'm mostly against games like Spider-man, God of War, Uncharted, TLoU being release on PC so soon, without even Denuvo to protect them for piracy, seems like a huge step back and inviting a huge long term risk in exchange for very little short term gains.

A simple plan to follow would be:
- GaaS/Multiplayer/community driven titles: day one PS5/PC
- Single player games should only be released when there is a sequel already announced or when they are last gen and many years have passed.
- All games require PSN log in (preferably Sony own launcher when they are able to build it)
- Their games should be pulled out of Steam when they were able to make their own launcher (Steam is now their main direct competitor)
- Denuvo on all single player games (buy Denuvo and offer it for free for AAA games published only on the Sony store).

I haven't been able to browse this website lately so I never saw you say that but I know PC releases aren't your thing and they ain't my thing necessarily but I can accept them if they help fund new games.

Which is why I really hope kinda like how in 2020 we got a State of Play on August 6th, 2020 followed up with a PlayStation Showcase on September 16th, 2020 we get a PlayStation Showcase at the beginning of next month to reveal some big stuff hopefully for this holiday.

This December is the 30th Anniversary of PlayStation and we need something big for it and the possible PS5 Pro

You would think they would make a big deal out of that but with current Sony I don't know.

I'm mostly over expecting anything good from Sony at this point, I'm not going to sell my PS5 and might even upgrade to the PS5 Pro but I will be thinking a lot before getting a PS6 comes next gen unless things get much better.

It's hard to say honestly. They had Ken Kutaragi at the end of the December 10th, 2019 State of Play for the 25th Anniversary and they had the PS1 themed PS4 in 2014.
In 2022 Kaz Hirai and Ken kutaragi celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gran Turismo:

So who know if that Jim Ryan PS1 themed PS5 was a hint for this year but I would hope if the leaks are true and the PS5 pro is this year they would have something besides Astrobot to go along it like maybe a blue point ICO Remake, or Sony Bends new game?

But after their GAAS fail who knows

I'm generally in favor of short periods between announcements and release dates. The current Sony problem is, there is not really much to look forward to from their studios. If it wasn't for Astro, it would have been a year with 0 SP releases.

If they had any decency they should do a PlayStation Experience event to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation and be thankful they have so many fans invested in their platform. They are extremely stupid for not fostering that kind of relationship that companies like Apple/Disney do when they have one of the most iconic products in the market.

Blizzard and even id were all able to have their annual conference but PlayStation can't?

But some idiot there thinks this would be money poorly spent...

Bringing PSX back once again would be awesome but since covid, all of sony doesn't seem to like doing in person events anymore. It started when the Xperia team pulled out of MWC when covid rumors were happening in the US!

shortly after you had PlayStation pull out of PAX

I wonder if they can try to open another PlayStation Store
They actually beat Nintendo at having a store in San Francisco 26 years before them if Nintendo's San Francisco's store is indeed opening next year
