Sony seems to be working on a new version of the DualSense that would improve on the PS5 controller with some extremely helpful features.

Whoever wrote this doesn't seem to know that Sony holds literally dozens of gaming-related patents that they have never even come close to making an actual product out of, but are protecting what they spent on R&D by filing the patents. Maybe, if things go in the right directions, we might see a product like this in a decade (See the patent for what became the Portal for example. Patent filed in 2013, product launched in 2023).

Nah. I like more advanced tech. We would have much better battery than we do now if companies like Apple and Samsung didn’t update new phones with better features. But I like what they do. I know you can’t compare a game controller to a smartphone, but I’m a tech person.

Psvr2, Dual Sense, remote play and 4k streaming, Portal, accessibility controller and much more all say hello. I respect Sony for putting their foot in and trying, innovating and evolving things on so many levels.

Cant see this being much use to a gamer, this is just another sony patent for their patent vault so in the future some poor bastard think of this idea sony can sue they asses for infringement.
