I mean we knew about this.
They won't have Spiderman 2 release.
Helldivers 2 blew up as well.
I mean we knew about this.
Important to remember that Helldivers launched February 8th. We're only seeing February and March here.Other Software" (1st party games in PC+rival consoles) made in Q4 FY23 almost the same money than in the entire FY22. Its FY23 revenue ($673,28M) is 55% up YoY
Those were the two biggest months thoughImportant to remember that Helldivers launched February 8th. We're only seeing February and March here.
Hmm, looking through the supplemental info I think PS5 is actually doing fine, as long as they can maintain the momentum. I hope this coming showcase is crazy. Now I want to know how they thought they were ever going to hit 25m in a FY, seems hyper unrealistic
True, they're forecasting an increase in so that actually bodes kind of well when I step back for a minute. But they're also forecasting a 2% decrease in overall revenue primarily driven by a decrease in hardware sales. Are they saying next FY is going to be something like 18m units? *edit* yeah 18m.Actually a really healthy forecast considering they aren't forecasting a significant dip here.
They called out final shape and concord. Which means they have confidence in both.
These numbers show how "doomed" Sony and PS are. Jim and Hermen aren't crying.
You're forgetting the ps5 pro.Are they saying anything about a price drop? 18m without any price drop is actually kinda good.
i'm expecting $600 as well, but I think the base ps5 needs to go to $400 at some point. $400 ps5 with concurrent GTA6 promotion would really drive a ton of units, and I don't think there's any reason they can't get to a $400 price point. You're forgetting the ps5 pro.
They probably won't do a price drop unless they feel like they have to.
Think we're looking at 600 dollars for the ps5 pro.
Sure he did. And people bitched with no reason. LOLFantastic results, Jim Ryan left the company on a high note. Let's see if the new guys can keep the momentum.
