What they need for the holidays is a price drop. The vast majority of sales during that period come from the usual COD/Fifa/Madden crowd. Those are the "tentpole" holiday titles, like every single year.

Q3 will be big due to the PS5 Pro and the 30th anniversary slate.
They'll probably need to do about 7.8 million units to get on pace for 18 million units.
1.25 million PS5 Pros ought to do it. It would mean about 6.55 million standard units.
Objectively they're in pretty good shape if you assume they can sell 2 million PS5 Pros by March 31st.

Agree. Both PC, Xbox & PS gamers are already trashing Fairgames. And that’s not counting the X/Twitter users ready to throw a field day & monetize the grift w YouTubers aswell.
PS/Sony just suck at controlling the narrative. Sega sue a creator for continue harassing. Sony/PS should be hitting these grifters w lawsuits & copyright strike to keep them in check monetizing miss information & grifting PS, PS studios or its developers because it will only grow w PS focus in GAAS & porting & lack of exclusive games on PS the PS platform is weak & in threat because it no longer has the thing (exclusive games) that acted as a shield against competition, grifters/PC players (players on any other platform) or even these media outlet.
Fairgames look better then concord from a design standpoint but even then it has to climb a big hill against the anti woke people & grifters that have already label Fairgames as DEI
