Nah, they've been a predator trying to eradicate any competition for decades. It's time they felt scared, it's time they understood what a real predator is, it's long overdue.
Yeah. MS is well known for doing this kind of moves. Thanks to regulators things haven't gone worse.

This is an official Microsoft spokesman retweeting a Jez cordon article. I don’t have a Twitter but those of you that to do (ahem @Bryank75) should get in the comments and try to make him say for the record if cod will extend 3 years.

Articles like this are a deathblow to Sony's narrative, and if anything actually turns it on them heavily. The funny thing is there's enough ammunition here to laugh them off, but the dump of info Microsoft is going to drop on them would get them laughed out of the room by regulators.

As they should. Nobody on Xbox to play with, lobbys are empty over there, so they need the PS fan base for someone to play with.

Like what? I can’t think of any game that is dead on Xbox but not dead on PlayStation. Look at the sellers list, they all buy the same multiplayer games.

“Control” in the same sentence as “MS” is used very loosely I’m sure

What? Sony charges devs to make games crossplay?
Yea but its not just for crossplay, sony considers market share of the game. So if a player is playing on PS4 but buying content on Xbox, sony wants a cut.

What a load of shit.

The article paints it rosy for his employer.

No one takes him seriously.

He's gotten worse ever since this Xbox Activision deal has started.
Yep. These Xbox Influencers and their subordinetes, the green rats. Are so fucking desperate for a win, anything really to claim victory, to finally shout to the four winds:
"Play Station is dead!!!!"

imagine being destroyed every single generation, the amount of anger, frustration, mental unrest and paranoia.

I almost feel sorry for them.

Please don't generalize. One bad actor is not representative of a fanbase as a whole.

Microsoft can’t kept their mouth shut. 💀

They will not be able to buy another publisher after the ongoing Activision Blizzard drama. They will pursue studio they are close working with: IOI, Asobo, Moon Studios etc.
But is this really a good strategy to say something like that in an open acquisition?

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on here, if this interview is already planned or if this is damage control. in a sane world with rules and regulations this interview made absolutely no sense in the context of what’s happening in the UK right now. Unless Microsoft is just that confident that it’ll go through by hook or by crook or Phil is really out here damage controlling I really can’t figure it out.

Xbox owners have no idea how lucky they will be if this falls through. $70b budget allocation unfreezes to bolster gaming. New studios, studio expansions, new ip’s.

Sadly, for Sony owners, MS may go on a talent pickup spree too - stonewalling Sony efforts.

See how it plays out.

Nah, Jim Ryan is a snake and he deserves to have his ass handed to him over this. The hypocritical nonsense about Microsoft buying up all these studios and 'damaging the future of the industry' while they themselves are attempting to do the same is just laughable.

PlayStation is trying to become a conglomerate all the same as Xbox, they just don't have that kind of money so they're crying foul like a toddler with less toys than some other kid.

They don't care about the industry, they don't care about gamers they just care about a loss of risk free revenue they have no entitlement to.
Cherry pick me again and we'll never speak again, come at me with a counter and I'll actually respond. Don't be lazy.

You should watch this to maybe understand how most people covering this have been wrong, and why CMA is raising red flags:

If no one agreed with what Sony was saying then this would have gotten pushed through without anyone making a fuss over in UK.
