Really not how this works. The compensation is money... and maybe they would work out a deal where they maintain a royalty for life.

Kingdom Hearts is entirely dependent on IP from Disney and Square... you really couldn't sell it if you wanted to without allowing for continued use of Disney characters past, present, and future.

For some reason people seem to think business works tick for tack. Xbox is putting games on PS5, so Sony must put games on Xbox... real life isn't like that.

Regardless, the only reason Sony would sell Spider-Man is if they were selling Sony Pictures to another company.
It actually could work. Marvel vs Capcom is owned by Capcom. They pay a license fee for the use of Marvel property. Sony could use the same model. Well they would need to pay license fees for Disney characters and Square characters. It's also possible to negotiate a lifetime license to use Disney characters in KH, cause Spider-Man is a huge property. And for the Square Enix part the could just split the revenue and profit 50/50. Just saying there ways to accomplish various and complex licensing structures.

There is no chance that disney creates a lifetime license for any of their IP lol.

It would be like EA buying marvel vs capcom. Three's a crowd. It wouldn't work and it wouldn't be worth it.

Disney would if that means they can own Spider-Man fully.
Spider-Man is a Goliath IP and KH not. Spider-Man is one of the most valuable IPs globally seen in the entertainment-industry.
Anyway it's just a thought.

I don't really have a strong opinion on this one way or another, but I'm confused as to why Sony doesn't focus more on hardware (tangible things) for their various divisions.
People like their audio/visual equipment, and their TVs been lagging. And on-top of that, that weird drop of PC-centric monitors, headsets (Sony Inzone).. and nothing again???

this is crazy, I went to my local game over video games today and on the way home was looking at the Alamo draft house by it and remembered I saw Mission Impossible Fallout there in 2018. This is pretty cool tbh! If I go see a movie now it will be over there

How are they? Is the experience better than usual cinemas?

Sorry for the late replay just got back from work and wanted to get the photos I took from my seat there.

The one I went to is actually on the wikipedia page for them (The 2009 Park North Mall one): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alamo_Drafthouse_Cinema
I don't go to the movies often but the lobby areas were quite a bit nicer than the usual ones. The actual theater experience itself was a bit better than the average one tho. I should go back there later this year?
