Destiny is in perpetual development. A new story arc kicks off immediately after Final Shape’s campaign and raid concludes. I’m not getting into the very real leaks publicly yet. We do have official Bungie slides which identifies the next Destiny project to be bigger than the one that’s coming. It’ll be some kind of relaunch. We will find out more at the end of the month at their reveal event.
Development will be concurrent with Marathon. Shared engine development and updates.
Destiny mobile is being co-developed with NetEase and is not a port. Been in development for just as long as Marathon. Release unknown.
They have other project in development or incubation. Fans like to look into job listings and come up with fiction. It’s fun and all but at the end of the day that could just be seasonal teams and development for expansions. Destiny has numerous teams. I assume Marathon will be the same if the launch rollout takes off.
