Bigger news is 75%-25% split between Series S and Series X for total Series install base (someone should make a thread- too busy). Overwhelming majority of Xbox fans are gaming in 1080p in 2023. Add to that the 125m Switch owners....

This industry is moving at a snail pace.

Starfield has had an impact on Xbox hardware sales.... again, games and exclusives do matter, despite whatever BS PR industry suits put out, or media personalities parrot. An insult to anyone's intelligence.

Will the bump be enough? Absolutely not. MS needs consistency of output, and consumer trust and they have neither outside their limited core base, and confused casuals.
It wasnt a bump, it was a blip. The 76 percent number people like to focus on was all of about 4,000 additional units for that week. If even that much.

They should be allowed to buy more publishers, right Yuri? 🤡
Well, the acquition of Bethesda so far, including their most important game for this generation, didn't change anything.

We'll see what effect has the acquisition of ABK. But so far didn't benefit them, and having CoD multi for at least 10 years in consoles and game subs I think it won't change anything, and that Sony will continue dominating MS in both in the consoles and game subs markets by basically any metric.

I think the only substantial change we'll see will be MS getting more more revenue than before because of having added Zenimax and ABK on top.

In the U.S they were number 2 for August. I expect that to carry for September, as opposed to #3 and declining.
