1. so you were wrong.
2. not only skins : In the center of all this is Emil (voiced by Maii Kadowaki), the strange character from Nier:Automata. Emil’s Shop makes a surprise appearance in the world of Stellar Blade where eleven different collaboration-special items will be available. Items that intertwine the best of both games, leading you to a more enriched world.
3. it least important part. it is a Stellar Blade game with Nier. but you made it up about Nier?
4. they called it ''updated version'' not Remaked version.
5. it isn't just 4 skins, the update include much more. but if you talk exclusively about Nier, maybe it is out of nowhere.

oh, so we measuring dick pics? here is mine :D

1. How so? They did rip It off
2. My man, you literally posted it yoursel. Read It. Emil shows up to sell you the cosmetics.
3. What? Can you please rewrite this? I dont understand.
4. That doesnt even make any sense. "Updated" is a stupid marketing buzzword and doesnt even contradict It being a remake. It's on a new engine. They redid combat from ground up, they rewrote the story to include the Seafront Mermaid boss fight that wasnt in the original, rewrote voice lines etc.
5. I wasnt talking about the update itself, but the DLC. I thought I made that quite obvious.
"maybe it is out of nowhere." - NPCs bro...

Congrats on the plats though 😃
Maybe I am too rough with words sometimes and people interpret It as me being mad or salty. It's not that serious lol I just like discussing games, which includes me shitting on them from time to time aswell. I was throwing slurs at yoko taro when I was playing Drakengard 3 too lol

Side note Nier is basically inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion. Creators take/iterate and Yoko is always honest about this and he gave Kim his blessings hence also the collab.

I hope it's not only dlc, cause we need a new game from Taro, I hope Sony/Nishino already threw a bag and he got Shift-Up working with him, on a fidelity level I see them do more on PS5. Would be fine with Platinum too as long as we get a game this gen.
Hey, every idea is inspired by some other idea. It's fine. I just hoped they would do more with It and was kinda dissapointed.
They took the nier setting and slapped It onto a generic over the shoulder action game with souls elements. Nothing you havent seen before really. I like when games experiment with formulas and try to push the barrier further, and since the games director kept saying that he was heavily inspired by NieR, I did hope he tried to do something similar to how Nier dId crazy shit with the vidya medium.

>Tunes into the next Sony showcase
>"SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS"
>"DIRECTED BY YOKO TARO"
>"MADE IN UNREAL ENGINE 5"
>The screen cuts to gameplay as 2B walking through the snowy city in an zoomed in over the shoulder camera
>the screen is blurry and full of TAA shit
>She parries the attacks when a blue light glows on an enemy hand
>She sits down next to a campfire to save her game

I am leaving gaming If this happens for real 🤣
Last light of hope would die out. Yoko taro has to save vidya, he has to.

They are making a mess of this announcement
Its not clear if its paid or not
Its not clear if it adds extra levels/story content or only cosmetics
how can you screw up something so simple

Free. They said it's a thanks to the community support.
The automata DLC seems to be phrased as "purchase required".
The only crossover with nier that i remember being free was the one in Gravity Rush 2, so I wouldnt be surprised If they wanted 5$~ for it.
The photomode and the rest of the update is free of course.

They seem to phrase it in a way, that advertise this as a skin pack, but also doesnt deny that It may contain some story stuff. Wouldnt be surprised If Emil gives us a quest of some kind, but dont expect much.

I stand corrected then.

"It was revealed at the end of the trailer that this new bit of DLC would cost players money to access, making it the first piece of DLC for Stellar Blade — aside from the Digital Deluxe upgrade — to actually cost money. This paid DLC will open up a shop in-game that is run by the strange creature called Emil from Nier Automata."

I thought it was free. Well, that sucks.

Didnt they say that all collabs will be paid before the game even launched?

Hello, Stellar Blade fans! Thank you for your continued love and support. Stellar Blade’s journey was fueled by your passion, and our fans motivated us to face every challenge. We are excited to share two special announcements with you today.

Collaboration with Nier:Automata

The moment you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived! A fantastic collaboration where the worlds of Stellar Blade and Nier:Automata meet.

Nier:Automata significantly inspired Stellar Blade. The collaboration between Director Kim Hyung Tae and Director Yoko Taro, marked by mutual respect and creativity, led to this successful outcome.

In the center of all this is Emil (voiced by Maii Kadowaki), the strange character from Nier:Automata. Emil’s Shop makes a surprise appearance in the world of Stellar Blade where eleven different collaboration-special items will be available. Items that intertwine the best of both games, leading you to a more enriched world.

Click! More fun with Photo Mode

You can now transform each moment in the game into your personal masterpiece. Beautiful landscape, thrilling battles, those emotional moments with the characters… Capture these moments to your heart’s content. Meticulous camera work and various filters allow you to create unique looks.

Go through different poses to discover new looks that you never knew Eve and her comrades had. Share these photographs of special moments to enjoy a new kind of amusement.

Patch updates you shouldn’t miss

Four new costumes and one new accessory are added to bring more personality to the characters.

The new accessory, ‘Symbol of Legacy’ changes the appearance and presentation of the Tachy Mode when equipped. Revitalize your gaming experience with updated cosmetics.

Also, lip-sync support for six additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish) will let you enjoy the vivid dialogues even more.

Your camp break just got more fun—you can now pick a specific song from the turntable to listen to.

We also expanded character customization for Eve and added a “No Ponytail” feature to the list from Ponytail Length.

More fun is added to battle. Auto-targeting and ballistics correction features will be applied to the enemy insta-kill skills. This will make the already intense and dynamic battles even more exciting.
