Probably because it is not selling like they hoped but that a side effect of Gamepass.

Retailers will probably have big headaches with Gamepass at the point that it won’t be worth invest in Xbox at all.

Where it’s at.
How terrible that the retailers will be creating supply issues for the Series X like that.

According to Xbots, bundles make it impossible to find Xbox systems at retail!

They have been selling less and less discs for a long time now, this is not like it happened in one shot.

They're still happy to sell Phones and streaming sticks of all kind (as opposed to only blue ray players... that have streaming capabilities themselves).

I really wish PlayStation and Xbox would be more transparent when it comes to bundles with hardware sales data, like Nintendo.
Nintendo software bundle sales data

FY3/2020: 3.40M
FY3/2021: 3.80M
FY3/2022: 1.50M
FY3/2023: 1.25M

They report systems sold and Sony doesn’t count bundled games as sales, so that’s that for them.

Microsoft doesn’t give ANY sales numbers anymore.

IIRC, only PS+ free games don't count, while bundled games are counted as sales.
