Tell us about the best and worst Collectors Edition of a game you ever bought!

Physical Collectors editions are becoming rarer and rarer and the quality seems to be going down over time.

So I am curious about what was the best and worst Collectors editions you ever got. What made them great and what made them bad...

I have only few collectors editions, but I really wanted and got the GoW3 Pandora Box. I was not disappointed.

I guess I'll answer my own thread...

My favourite is my Ghost of Tsushima CE, great quality and feels very premium.

My worst is probably the Death Stranding, even though it's an amazing game, the items in the CE feel very cheap and some of it was broken before opening it.

I really liked my Witcher 1 collectors edition on PC. Or Shining Force 3 Bonus disc on Saturn. Halo 3 Limited edition with Helmet was cool but I sold it lol

I own a lot of old big box PC games that came with things like a cloth map or a full foam-leather bound book. Those "regular editions" are a lot better than any collectors edition I've ever owned.

As to worst.... uhhh.... anything that is just a steelbook and nothing else?

Never bought one , collectors editions are too expensive for me , but I remember the absolute shit show that was fallout 76 with the bag lol

Don't really have many. Even if I can find one, shipping costs nearly as much as the item itself. The best would probably be the original Last of Us Joel Edition. A really nice cloth bundle with the artbook, a LOU themed PS3 controller sticker, a ND sticker, a poster and a nice cardboard box for the game itself with portraits of both Joel and Ellie on it. When you fold it, the front has a black and white portrait of Joel and the game's logo.

The worst, technically, Killzone 3. I say technically because the actual Collector's edition is called Helghast edition. The CE I have is just a steelbook with a plastic sleeve over it. And yes, it's called the Collector's Edition.

Square Enix collector's editions are always the bomb- the static arts figurines are so good, ff7 remake Soldier first class edition is my favorite. My wukong CE just shipped that also seems to be of great quality and packed to the brim with different goodies.

The worst one I have is Spidermid 2, The build quality is very poor and it costs too much for a cheap statue. Also the game turned out to be rather mid and opened my eyes to the soy in insoymniac.
