How many Wii U owners didn't own a 3DS? Only Nintendo, with Nintendo account data, could really say with any certainty but my guess is not many. Also, bear in mind that Switch's online ecosystem is totally different (worse) than Wii U's and 3DS's. They really did start from scratch from a player perspective.
