TLOU story and writing quality is exceptional.
There is no way to go wrong unless you really do a bad show.

And to be fair I believe if the show reaches TOOU2 then it will be even better.

Can't trust reviewers, specially when potentially culture war overtones are involved - for either side. Hopefully it's indeed a good watch. Game was stellar.

To be fair I put a lot of faith in simply having HBO’s name behind it. Sony should stick with them for everything.

Don't have much faith in it. Amazon have done some decent adaptations though but some poor ones too
