I have no idea. In fact I don't even know if they included the cut levels unfinished as of they were when cutted to explain why they did, or if they completed, fixed and polished them to reach final game quality.

I actually think this is a neat addition. The upgrade is super generous no less. Also probably test bed for pve game concepts.

I find most of the critics of the gameplay in The Last of Us 1 and 2 are the kind of people too braindead to engage a game on its own terms if it isn’t the usual cookie-cutter generic shooter gameplay they think it should be.

If you have played the game aggressively you can get why they went about it this way, that makes the "gameplay" portion shine by itself.

I don't like rogue likes, but I'm going to get a go to this one.
