The term "port begging" was supposed to be a term we don't allow on this site - and yet - some of our own founders continue to use it.

Funny a Mod ask's nicely for people to stop only for it to be followed up by people starting it up again.
Also the Term Port-Begging we rather people not use over and over, but it is not a ban-able offence.
Don't worry we are keeping our eyes on the few people that do it and continue to fuel it.

Terms such as 'port-begging' are not bans but continuously using the term to simply get a rise out of someone is not acceptable and moderation will be applied at the appropriate level. We want bans to be a last resort

I saw people baiting each other and told them all to stop, nothing more to it.

The baiting stops now.

There's a very real reason that this is coming to PC earlier than normal.... and that is because of 2 things.... the HBO show and more importantly, the Factions 2 game. They want a healthy playerbase across PS and PC and this is to grease the PC crowd up and get them into the world of TLOU.

I know for a fact that Returnal PC was ready for months and months and was held back from release till the 2 year point.

Unless Sony have a specific reasoning, they probably wont go under 2 years with most games.

I also have doubts about as many games getting ported in the future, since the last 3 games sold comparatively poorly.

Do you think that would be due to lack of quality/enjoyment of the games themselves? Or due to sub par performance, which ultimately makes Sony devs look not so experienced when it comes to ability wise? Either of these look bad for Sony.

So if you need to go back to when it was initially warmed against, and how many times several users who were warned, and still do it....

I am just guessing... but it would probably depend on Sony's longterm plans.

I doubt they will try to put more platformers on PC for instance, especially since they have no multiplayer connected games there in all likelihood.

But TLOU with other MP projects connected surely will.

Bigger sellers like GOW will go after most sales are exhausted on PS5 IMO...

and Destiny 2 and multiplayer games day 1...

So it's a case by case basis basically.

I read everything that is posted and deal with reports when they are made.
Not all posts need to be moderated with the terms in as most the time people don't bite, They ignore them and move on.
When they do get out of hand that's when we will step in.
We want to treat everyone with the same view, But We do see who stands out.

We are actively monitoring every way that people try to instigate platform warring, rest assured. Like @TubzGaming pointed out, most of the time it fails and we don't need to intervene. I would like to move on, if you don't mind.
