Sounds like max frame upto 120 from whatever the minimum base is. Assume 60 for performance and a 30 for fidelity.

Since it says supported televisions that is probably the 120fps mode or as close as it can get with VRR.

Serious question, what's the point of 120fps? Most objects irl don't even move past 60fps unless it's a high speed jet. when I tried Final Fantasy 7 remake at 120fps it felt so unnaturally smooth. It seriously looked ugly. It just feels like an OCD tbh just one of these useless things some gamers are obsessed about.

Helps with responsiveness,motion clarity,etc. Its just smoother although I'm fine with 60fps. For competitive multiplayer games its probably more important.

Higher fps = Higher motion resolution for shit display tech. An 4k lcd at 60fps only gives about 1080p of resolvable detail in fast motion. Increase the fps, increase the clarity while in motion.

probably as high as vsync cap goes? maybe 120?

That seaport almost reminds me of the order 1886. Imagine Bluepoint remaking the order 1886 on PS5 at 4k 60fps, I need to see that happen. I swear if Order and DC get remakes they will easily be some of the best looking games this gen, just like Demon Souls.

As for LOU1 Remake, the first trailer already showed how impressive it was. PS3 visuals to LOU2 upgrades is already generational. I'm sure there is even more improvements in the visuals over LOU2 level cutscenes in-game on PS5. People were just hating because it's PS, the same people would say with a straight face that Halo Infinite looked amazing.

I knew I wasn't the only one who got reminded of The Order 1886 when I saw that dock comparison

And yeah there's a few potential remakes out there that would shoot Bluepoint straight to the top

No the order 1886, it was more of a tech demo than a complete game.... I bought it used from a guy who finished it (about 2 or 3 days post launch)... Then sold it for the same amount I paid.

That game was boring AF, the story was unbelievably bad the environments were the most static that I have ever seen (they promised physics based destruction)and the bosses were the worst since the dawn of video gaming!

The graphics were 10/10, game made for photo mode.
