So between Naughty Dog's release of The Last of Us Part 2 and their new IP, there's a chance Insomniac will have released 5 different titles in that same time period with three already out.

I really hope Sony can turn this around, or they will be missing more sales targets, the Ps5 is already selling below expectations.

Though you shouldn't really take that to mean I am endorsing the meme, I think being console exclusive is 95 percent as good as true exclusive. PC gamers gonna PC game, normal people gonna console game and only rarely will the two meet.

That's a lazy summarisation by you. There is legitimate criticism of Sony with the poorer number of output this gen from first party studios, but the way you went about it is so haphazard. This comment quoted reinforces that you are an idiot.

If well ahead of its planned release dates, Sony announced loads of games that either didn't come out or came out years later to a poor reception, would you prefer that?

The true metric Xbox fans are using is games announced (whether they are released or not) equals games released.

It is shocking with the new succes & clout PS has earned with the PS4 generation they didn’t double down buying more singleplayer centric studios to produce more games whether its existing or new ip.

Previously PS games never would 10+ million so frequently essentially every major game outside the more experimental AAA singleplayer games like Desth Stranding sells 10+ million Sony not taking advantage of PS new clout & crating more games or bringing back existing ip to capitalize selling games instead they port there games to PC to diminish the PS platform & storefont

In the opposite side Nintendo knows its gain new clout & succes with the casual consumer base with the switch & there doubling down. Buying more singleplayer studios & buying a port studios the won’t port Nintendo games outside its platform to diminish the Nintendo platform & storefront but instead port 3rd party games to Nintendo, wow so smart bring more games to its platform making Nintendo platform & storefront even more defacto.

Sony should’ve ordered all there studios to become multi team studios bringing back old existing ip that have massive potential. Why does Suckerpunch not have a 2nd & 3rd team that are not working on Sly Cooper & inFAMOUS Naughty dog should have 3-4 teams working on new Uncharted & Jak & Daxter (the last Uncharted was 8 years ago) that’s unacceptable essentially a gold mine being ignored for a company that wana seek more profits it chooses to diminish & harm the PS platform, storefront & brand/identity instead of double down game output from its long list of gaming ip with massive potential not only in gaming but also films, movies & animation. Sony needs to license PS ip to 3rd party like Nintendo to crank more games from beloved & proven franchise. PS cadence of first party PS studios games is to low & not enough when comparing to Nintendo

Oh I see what OP did there.


First he went to the list of PS4-only games which contains 58 entries and not 63, then he failed to take out all the games that released from late 2017 onwards (over 4 years after the PS4's release) and even games that never released like Deep Down or demos like P.T.

So in reality we're looking at 37 PS4-only games released in the first 4 years that aren't demos. Many of those are also PSVR exclusives, but whatever.


Then he conveniently left out the fact that Sony's newest strategy involves re-releasing most of their 1st-party games on PC 2+ years later, meaning the list for PS5-only games is obviously going to leave out a lot of games that effectively only sold on the PS5 for a long time (and will still never sell on the Xbox).



Regardless, claiming the PS5 has no games is kind of laughable. No one is complaining about lack of games in that platform. If anything people are complaining about not having enough time to play all the games they want on the PS5.
