To reinforce that they put the effort in and aren't just reproducing the scenes directly from the game, most likely.

I'd have watched episode 2 last night myself, but Crave, the Canadian streaming "service", was under too much demand and shat itself.

These would be scenes that are a direct lift from the game. I don't think it's related to show they put on some work, it's a character position swap.
