$7.5 billion for Bethesda
$69 billion for call of duty
$500k for an ad in Las Vegas Sphere.
That's 77bil

To put that into perspective adjusted to inflation:

142 RDR2
161 Cyberpunks 2077
309 Last of us 2
363 Horizon FW
770 WItcher 3
987 Gears of war 3 games
1242 Half-Life 2

And Xbox can't make a single good game.
I have my doubts if they will ever make 150rdr2 level of quality games out of this deal.

and the Xbox console sales seem to still be in terminal decline, in just the 3rd year.

It's actually supposed to be hitting peak sales now but it's strongly trending in the opposite direction.

I could build a pretty decent retro games collection with that amount of money, maybe I would have money left to buy a Trinitron CRT as well.

As for the ad on the sphere it shows how egomaniac the Xbox cult is, like buy the box because it has an X on it (or you like Phil). Compared to Sony who advertised a game.
