It's crazy how Xbox was supposedly poised to dominate this year in terms of content. Just like any other year, they are significantly behind yet again. They have only really shipped Hellblade 2, which isn't even a AAA game. We are in August now, that is abysmal.

The future is Xbox, because the games are never in the present.

Shit management lying to their customers with known lies. At some stage you'd imagine they'd release something without drama or severe delays even by accident. A stopped clock is at least right twice a day.

I can't believe they will ship a game with these PS3 gen graphics.
So a delay can do good to it.

Actually a year delay like happened with Halo can bring nice things to the game.

Honestly, its probably for the best with Indy coming out in the fall. What genius's idea was it to slot them both there in the first place?

But is it though? They have went the entire year with almost no major releases.

Shit though it might be, they treated Hellblade like a major release for most of its dev cycle. And the fact that their releases are so rare isn't a reason to bunch them up, its a reason to spread them better.

it should be cancelled, it doesn't stand out from the crowd. it looks like a game from a mid tier AA studio, not a first party.

Because that's what it is. Obsidian might've grown in recent years, but they've been juggling more projects instead of everyone at that studio working on a single supremely expensive triple A RPG.

Didn't help Halo though....

IF Indy isn't delayed too...
There's no reason to think it will be, at this point. They'll really be in deep shit if it is, though. Its not like Sony is coming in with any massive guns and Nintendo is bringing, what, Mario and Luigi?, but they better have something other than non-exclusive CoD.
