This is just physical; with digital factored in there's a good chance DQIIIR outsold it in the UK.

Confused Puzzle GIF

Just physical for both games.

Irrespective, Lego Horizon isn’t the commercial failure many made out to be.

Oof at Lego Horizon, yeah this is a commerical failure... At this rate it may not even crack the Circana top 20 or barely manages to.
It was already a failure set by Steam CCU guys with just 30k units worldwide across all platforms.

The fact it already sold way better in UK than what the Steam CCU guys thought is already something 😂.

BTW this UK physical alone already put these 30k units worldwide in the bullshit side.

Repeating something again and again won’t make it true.

Concord was a commercial bomb.

This isn’t.
I wouldn't be shocked if the physicals for this chart is around 6 - 8k tops

Lego dethroned Concord on steam - small victories.. time to pull it off the Steam Store 😼

I don't even see this game selling better than Sackboy's Big Adventure, but I'm guessing they'll do some Xmas price slashing across the board that avoid full failure

For a DQ game in Japan? Sure.

I can see it not doing huge number on PS5 but Switch needs to be really huge.
It's not a main DQ game though, it's a remake of a really old one. Maybe you're right though. For example the last DQ spinoff sold 350K copies first week in Japan

It is a main DQ just not new… a new one should do over 3 million in Japan at launch.
That is what the last one did (DQXI did close to 3.5m physical at launch week).
But maybe digital plays a big role now so maybe some 2 million with the rest being digital.

That's pretty high... My guess is 250k switch and maybe 100k PS5

You're going to be surprised when the numbers come in tomorrow.

Square-Enix undershipped again in Japan, especially on the Switch.
Stock issues were almost immediate, lmao.

A shame, but I'm sure a bunch of folks bought the game digitally.
Still means we won't be able to see the "correct" number from the weekly report(s).

Not good considering that Dragon Age will be EU+NA centric.
It ain't like DD2/FF7Rebirth where a decent chunk of sales will come from Asia.

Dragon Age never had the relevant languages for the previous games, just look at the review breakdown by languages on Steam from Veilguard:

3.46% Simplified Chinese
1.10% Korean
0.28% Traditional Chinese
0.25% Japanese

In particular, it is rare to see such low Simplified Chinese review ratios with for a triple A title nowadays.
