In UK since launch it sold less than PS4.It's hard to believe that Switch is in the top 9. I thought it was going to be in the top 5/top 3.
No, this is Ursula Von Palpatine
They have the exact same game library, so far, so no.Not as different as XSX to xss.
That's like saying PS4 is a PS5 or a 4090 is a 1080ti.They have the exact same game library, so far, so no.

Yes, like all the consoles.NSW had a slow adoption rate during launch year.
In UK it is still slow... lifetime sales are over Xbox One and below PS3... let's not talk about others consoles.NSW had a slow adoption rate during launch year.
It's also a portable/different market and people should never compare it.In UK it is still slow... lifetime sales are over Xbox One and below PS3... let's not talk about others consoles.
I will let this here:
* Consoles sales in UK as of November, 2022.
- Nintendo DS: over 12m
- PlayStation 2: over 10m
- Xbox 360: 8.9m
- Wii: 8.5m

- PlayStation: 7.2m
- Game Boy: 6.6m

I think it can be very comparable with others places. It's also a portable/different market and people should never compare it.
Fucking lol. Slower than the PS1, Sony's first foray, and almost as slow as the original Xbox.

Microsoft hit two million sales of Xbox Series S and X after 128 weekswww.gamesindustry.biz
The product/market is different is what I am saying.I think it can be very comparable with others places.
Switch success is due places outside UK... the sales in UK were always in the low end with no record breaking numbers like happened outside.
It was not just launch... after 6 years it is still trying to surpass PS3.
360, PS4 and PS5 paces in UK are way faster in UK than Switch... that is odd when you look at others countries where Switch really have some top tier numbers.
It is something specific to UK I believe... even in US Switch sales are way better relatively.
Fucking lol. Slower than the PS1, Sony's first foray, and almost as slow as the original Xbox.
Didn't Nintendo sort of think that it may be a flop and they used the Tegra SoCs from nvidia because they got the remaining stocks for a relatively good price?... so at some point they had to restart production of this chip just for the console?Switch had stock issues for the first 2 years, it was actually pretty hard to find up til I bought one in *edit*2018 which is when they started to be able to be found on shelves, this is in the US
Idk I just remember reading articles about how it was hard to find and never seeing one in store until I randomly was able to get one at target before the holidays, iirc I picked up one of the two on displayDidn't Nintendo sort of think that it may be a flop and they used the Tegra SoCs from nvidia because they got the remaining stocks for a relatively good price?... so at some point they had to restart production of this chip just for the console?
Not sure where I got this idea, but it was not clear at all that the Switch was going to be a success at first.
