Some tibits:
  • Very few graphical options with resolution and framerate tied to display screen.
  • Shaders are being compiled at launch taking around 20 minutes in top-dog CPU (can be skipped but loading time will drastic increase and you will have perfomrance drop due the high use of the CPU ingame)
  • Motion Blur is bugged.
  • Loading the same level: 2.45s (PS5) vs 15.78s (PC)
  • Alex could not match PS5 due lack of granularity and custom settings.
  • 5700 is 8% faster than 2060S at 1440p, 60-70fps
  • Use FSR/DLSS, balanced setting: between 80-90fps
  • AMD has frame time spikes
  • Alex said cutscenes disable Vsync when prerendered on PC - as it IS loading in the Background - it makes their Playback a Bit odd
  • Linux runs better than Windows
  • Overall not the best Sony port... just good.
  • PC and PS5 have different HDR.
  • Missing PS5 accessibility options.
Closest PS5 setting with RXT 2060S.
  • AO : Medium for performance / High for quality
  • Reflections: Medium or High (same performance)
  • Shadows: High
  • Textures: High in 8GB GPUs
  • Model quality: Enhanced (though PC draw distance is lower than PS5)

If there are any issues with this port I blame Iron Galaxy, we all remember them...

Yea. I'm disappointed that ND didn't release a better port compared to the other companies. Hopefully this will not be the norm from Iron Galaxy
