He mentioned on the VGC podcast that Konami is planning a big E3 event in June, which will show off the Metal Gear Solid remake, Castlevania reimagining, and potentially Silent Hill: The Short Message and updates on the other titles.

Castlevania 3D will only work if it's something like the first dark souls.

For real. I miss the days of eating a tree frog. Even MGSV was not the best for me.... it just went too far away from the traditional MGS formula. It also wasn't as wacky or insightful.

MGS3 is my favorite due to all the James Bond references, awesome moments and excellent characters and boss battles.

MGS is right up there with it though, Liquid was the GOAT antagonist.

Yup, MGSV was the biggest gaming disappointment for me. As much praise as it got, it just lacked soul, for the lack of a better word.

Also I never liked playing games on handheld, so I never finished Portable Ops or Peace Walker, so I really hope we can get those in AAA form sometime, maybe bundled together.

MGSV definitely didn't have that depth, I was glad to see Death Stranding had some of that insight and almost prophetic quality to it but I miss the MGS character.... it had something so unique.

With DS2 and this on the way, I really hope it fills that void people like us have been feeling.

MGSV reminds me of Devil May Cry 2. I cried of disappointment. I still can't figure out how it managed to gather all those 10s from reviewers.

Plus Id rather a MGS1 remake first… done properly not that Twin Snakes version
