They're trying to do what they do with Persona/Yakuza and make it seem like an Xbox exclusive when it's not
Xbox really brought out Square to show a JRPG that was announced as multiplat a month ago and is not on Gamepass. Lmao.

They even tried to make Square Enix look like a special surprise reveal they way they set it up.

Shocked to see Square Enix at the Developer Direct but as someone who enjoyed Trials of Mana remake in 2020, im looking forward to this one.

Except they made it very clear when it was announced last year that the game was going to be on PlayStation. I think a lot of the smaller games that were defacto exclusives on PS weren't because of a 'relationship' with Sony but moreso them not seeing Xbox as worth the effort. No point in getting upset or worried over a non-story like this, especially given Square's history and Phil's comments about their relationship with Square still "having a long way to go". I could still see Sony dropping bags of money to get first dibs on the big stuff though.

It's just a reupload of the Xbox direct trailer. There are others with the PS logo on it. Stop freaking out over nothing. There was nothing shown today that warrants this much ridiculous anxiety.
Wait 72 hours after an Xbox show to see if the newly announced game is on other platforms. Xbox are known to pay for time exclusive reveal time. It's sadly ture. However, this was announced as PS4/PS5 already. I wouldn't get worried here. Never has a PS/Xbox or Nintendo show included other platforms for third party videos.
