So every year since 2020 we've seemly had a bunch of big games pushed out to the following year or sometimes pushed out for years!
Halo Infinite, Death Loop, Dying Light 2, No More Heroes 3, Psychonauts 2, and Outriders out of 2020
Horizon: Forbidden West, GT7, Hogwarts, Gotham Knights, Ghostwire, Advance Wars 1+2 remake, and GOW out of 2021
Progmata, Zelda, Redfall, and Starfield from 2022 to 2023

So what game or games do you see announced for 2023 that might be pushed to 2024?
For some reason I just see Final Fantasy XVI and Starfield being the two biggest candidates for being pushed to January/February 2024 (Just missing 2023).
I know some people will come at me with Final Fantasy XVI already being planned for Summer 2023 so it being delayed for what maybe half a year seems unlikely but from what I remember in 2016 Final Fantasy XV had its season pass already announced before it's delay from September 2016 to November 2016 and with covid still being a thing affecting the industry right now I'm just not too confident in any game making next year no matter how long it's been in development!
Now about Starfield, I have a feeling that or maybe Redfall will be the Crackdown 3 of this generation and maybe not delayed for the whole generation like Crackdown 3 but maybe just out of 2023!

Yes, in most cases due to covid.

I think many games announced for 2023 (like Spider-Man 2) were 2022 games and before announcing publicly their year were delayed to 2023 due to covid. I highly doubt they will be pushed to 2024.

They already were delayed, were originally 2022 games. Won't be delayed to 2024, will be released in 2023 even if are a bugfest.

Deep down I think Pragmata ain't making it.

I don't think FFXVI ever had a release windows until the last trailer but I don't see it being delayed.

All of them, I don’t believe a game will hit until I can preload it.

I could be completely wrong on my guesses and both FF XVI and Starfield come out in 2023 with no problems but games can be delayed for more than one year like GOW 2022 and while Zelda was never scheduled for 2021 I imagine when they first showed it at E3 2019 they never meant for the game to take until 2022 and then delayed to 2023 to come out. Same with Metroid Prime 4.

Ff7 rebirth.

i really hope starfield doesn't get delayed, and the only reason is that would mean es6 gets pushed out further.

But yeah I can see starfield getting further delayed.

FF7R part 2 unfortunately. they already gave themselves an out with 'Winter 2023' lol
I would of included that but I always assumed winter 2023 could mean early 2024 l as well. In fact I would be shocked if final fantasy 16 and that launch the same year.

GoW was announced as a 2021 game, had to delay it due to injuries of the main actor and will be released in 2022. Got a single delay of one year.

Zelda or Metroid Prime 4 may have their own issues specific to them, but this doesn't mean other games totally unrelated to them should have it.

We know FFXVI development is pretty much done and they are polishing, optimizing, completing a few remaining things and in a few months will start to focus on bugfixing. Pretty likely they could have it ready before but didn't want to release it this winter to don't overshadow other fall/winter SE games.

My bad I meant Advance Wars 1+2 got delayed out of 2021 and might be a 2023 game, I made that reply while I was busy somewhere on my phone and was replying to multiple threads and my mind went autopilot and just brought up gow 2022.

I don't think we'll see Pragmata. It looked great but I think it might have actually already been delayed? It has the stink of this gen's Deep Down, but I hope that both resurface.

They have always said Next Winter. So no year was ever put. Having said that I personally think it's a March / April 2024 window.

If the game is indeed 3 parts, part 2 needs to be massive. Nearly 5 years of development makes sense for something like that.
