What system comes to your mind first when you think of slot loading disc trays?

For me the Wii comes to mind first despite the PS3 launching before it in North America. Maybe it's those LEDs by the disc tray that made it stand out in my mind?
funny how both the Wii and PS3 had 3 revisions and the third one used a regular disc loading tray
Wii original model 2006
Wii Family Edition 2011
and Wii Mini which had no slot loading disc tray


PS3 original 2006
PS3 Slim 2009
PS3 Super Slim 2012 which didn't have the slot loading disc tray

PS5. Had to replace my PS5 because it stopped reading discs.

There is something cool about slot loading, the Super Slim was no good.

It hard for me to think of newer systems when i think of slot loading trays. They were so unique 18 years ago but nowadays while still awesome just doesn't have that same wow factor

My original PlayStation is under my tv currently so definitely that one.

I felt like a grown up when my games started coming in disc form.

I still remember inserting Tekken Tag Tournament into my launch PS2 after midnight on 10/26/2000. It was an awesome experience.

I might of not said it best in the original post (Doesn't help I only showed photos of the non slot loaded disc tray versions of the PS3 and Wii)I meant what console comes into mid first when you think of consoles where they disc tray is self loading like the wii and PS3 disc trays. The original PS1 has a normal disc tray where you manually open it and insert the disc.
