Remember when I asked here some games based in Chinese Light Novels?
Well this is one.

It is basically a Wuxia game.

Experience original Wuxia combat with diverse weapons and skills, mastering the precision of Chinese martial arts.

Engage in close-quarters combat using Spear, Long Swords, Twin Blades, Broadsword, and fans. Unlock epic techniques like Acupuncture Hitting, Lion's Roar, Merciful Picking, and Tai Chi. Utilize a lethal bow and arrow for ranged attacks. Employ stealth and deception in strategic ambushes.

Looking better this time around than the last showing it had. I'm seeing the frame rate has improved but then again this is based off of this trailer. I think the game is also open world if I remembered right.

Oh this was a PC only game, its nice that we are getting a PS5 port though. It has a single player part and a multiplayer overworld from what I heard

From the gameplay snippets I have seen it has all the tropes of wuxia and xianxia novels. Caves and tombs of martial ancestors which you explore and gain their inheritance at the end, dual cultivation npc's, status effects of poison etc, meridians and chi storage etc etc

It was rated for release in China, I think most probably we see it in the september showcase

I just hope it doesnt have the normal xianxia/wuxia webnovel quality of writing

What you don't like "Your Father" jokes . Most wuxia novels are just power creep the book and the villains seem to have iq less than 20 but if you switch off our brain its a fun time
