From these I have 0 interest in Dead Space.
Alone in the Dark just a bit interest.
The main hype is still REmake 4 and SH2R but the first will probably be a way better remake than SH2R due the budget and developer behind them.
I really don't trust in the team working in SH2R.

is the remaster of Silent Hill 2 on PS3 an alright way of playing or is emulation a better route?

I believe the PS2 version on CRT is still the best way to play the game… that is what DF said when tested all options.
Emulation is a better option than Remaster for PS3.

Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space. Silent Hill is 50/50 as I have no confidence in Bloober Team whatsoever and I don't care about Alone in the Dark. Also, compared to the first two games, they don't look good at all me. But it is what it is.
