Yukes with what is now the wwe2k series. Through all the glitches and restrictions and growing pains, that create a wrestler mode has some level of customizability to it. No other create a player holds up, but this new online generation of like SF6 characters might change that. In a way it was a more customizable version of the old Streets Of Rage series when scrolling beat em ups fell off.

Outside of that, I really do enjoy certain franchises. For what their gameplay does, or their story offers. RE, DC, TR, TLOU, MK, SF being particular standouts. When I think of consolidation I mean in terms of the series could be better supported/nurtured/blah blah, the game becomes in a better position to gain good reviews and renewed sequel/dlc support, or or as a game base continually updated GaaS style.
