Why do the free pc games have no lag, why the official ones do?

Hey there,

So i bought and downloaded some games recently from Steam,
Even if i can play the games, they're extremely laggy most of the time,
While downloading the exact same games for free from this website seems to be working without any problems,

I'm pretty sure that my PC do handle these games without any problems and goes way beyond the suggested requirements,
But for some reason, this is happening and only while running the Steam ones,
Did anyone ever had the exact same problem before?
I did try disabling the overlay settings but with no luck, how can i solve this?

Please let me know as i want to play some online modes in some of them,
But sadly can't

Sorry to hear this. See if the lag goes away if you use kb/mouse instead of a joystick. I've noticed some games having lag when using a joystick. Also, if you have an Nvidia card, do you see the message that "Reflex ON".

Try in windowed or borderless window mode. Try disabling vsync. Try to make sure you have the spiecific GPU driver for your GPU model.

Windows 10, 16GB Ram, GTX 3060 Ti, 512 SSD, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the hardware

What kind of CPU are you using? if it has integrated graphics some games might use the integrated graphics by default instead of your GPU.
